Principal's History

Madison Valley Renewable Energy LLC is a new venture, which brings together decades of experience in environmental issues, utility scale energy production and public-private sector business partnerships which is critical to the successful development of this undertaking. Madison Valley's principals have more than 20 years experience in environmental and energy law, public gas and electric utility operations, wind energy technology, financing and project development of real estate investments including tax credit assisted housing, real estate finance, and asset management.

Madison Valley's members are: Zebuln Renewable Energy, LLC and Triton Renewable Energy, LLC.

Zebuln's principal is Lester Brown, Esq., who has more than two decades of legal experience representing electric and gas utilities. Mr. Brown also served as a staff member on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce charged with overseeing and developing laws related to energy development and use and environmental protection.

The founding member of Triton is Deane E. Ross, an individual with nearly three decades of experience helping to implement public and private partnerships to provide equity financing for the public policy of providing affordable, safe and sanitary housing to low-income families. These partnerships have acquired, rehabilitated and have operated multifamily properties throughout 39 states and Puerto Rico and totaling more than 50,000 apartment units.

Additional Project Team Participants

In addition to the Principals, Madison Valley has engaged RENEWergy and Jorn Larsen.

Our Madison Valley Project team includes one of the country's top wind energy professionals - Jorn Larsen - former President and CEO of enXco, one of the nation's largest wind developers and operators. In addition to Madison Valley, Jorn is currently involved in the development of more than 1000 MW of wind energy in California. RENEWergy is an advisor to leading institutional investors with over $400 million invested in U.S. projects.

Jorn came to America from Denmark in the 1980's and helped to install the first wind turbines in the U.S. in Palm Springs and Northern California. A former director of the American Wind Energy Association from 1997 - 2005, Jorn is one of the most respected professionals in wind energy with over 24 years of wind energy experience. Mr. Larsen has been involved in the development of over 1,500 MW of wind power.

As a Co-founder and former CEO of enXco, Inc., Mr. Larsen was involved in the operation and maintenance of over 4,000 wind turbine generators with 270 employees and has been involved in the development and financing of over 20 wind farms since 1984.
